1. Products and services covered

This Privacy Policy applies to SunnyPOS software and services, including Mint, OrderUp, sunnypos.com, software downloads, license checks, heartbeat/status systems, documentation, and support.

2. Information we may collect

SunnyPOS may collect website/download information such as downloaded product, downloaded version, installer file name, download date/time, browser or user-agent information, referrer information, and IP-related technical information or a hash derived from it.

SunnyPOS may collect license, activation, and heartbeat/status information such as product name and version, license identifier, installation identifier, machine or device hash, store or business name if provided, operating system version, time zone, check-in time, status information, usage counters, feature status, license status, subscription status, and error information.

SunnyPOS may collect support information such as name, business name, email address, phone number, support messages, screenshots, logs, files, diagnostic information, or remote-support session information if you request help.

3. Payment card information

SunnyPOS heartbeat, license-check, download, and website status systems are not intended to collect full payment card numbers, card security codes, PINs, magnetic stripe data, or chip card track data.

4. How we use information

SunnyPOS may use information to provide, activate, license, support, update, secure, monitor, and improve software and services; process downloads; show download counts; verify product version; diagnose problems; communicate with customers; maintain records; and comply with legal obligations.

5. Sharing

SunnyPOS does not sell customer data. SunnyPOS may share information with service providers who help operate hosting, email, support, payment, analytics, security, or software services. SunnyPOS may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a business transfer.

6. Data retention and security

SunnyPOS keeps information for as long as reasonably needed for licensing, support, security, business records, legal compliance, product improvement, and dispute resolution. SunnyPOS uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure.

You may contact SunnyPOS to request access, correction, or deletion of information where appropriate. SunnyPOS may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and post the current version on the SunnyPOS website.
